The MUSIAD delegation, headed by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Export Promotion Commission Chairman Abdülkadir Hotyüz, met with Salahedden Alkasah, Libya's Consul General in Istanbul, and Şerzod Abdunazarov, the First Secretary of Uzbekistan in Istanbul.
MUSIAD Export Promotion Commission President Abdülkadir Hotyüz and Commission Vice President Halit Kerim met with Salahedden Alkasah, Libya's Consul General in Istanbul, and Osama Saif El Nasr, the Commercial Attaché. During the meeting, information was given about the MUSIAD Libya Branch Opening and Business Trip, which is planned to be held in March, and ideas were exchanged.
In the said meeting; The areas of cooperation and joint studies that can be created regarding the business trip were discussed with the Libyan Ministry of Trade and Economy, the Libyan Ministry of Industry, Investment Promotion Affairs and Privatization General Authority.
Within the scope of the meeting held during the visit, areas that can be invested in Libya were also mentioned, while potential opportunities for industry, food, health, petrochemistry, construction-building materials, tourism and service sectors were discussed.
Turkey-Uzbekistan trade relations were evaluated
The MUSIAD delegation, which also met with the Istanbul Chief Secretary of Uzbekistan, Şerzod Abdunazarov, held consultations regarding the Uzbekistan Business Trip planned in May.
During the meeting, the development of commercial relations between the two countries and the conveniences that can be applied to business people were discussed.
MUSIAD Export Promotion Commission Members Dilek Yurtseven and Onur Gül were also present during the visits to the Istanbul missions of Libya and Uzbekistan.
