YOUNG MUSIAD 45TH GENERAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS HELD IN SAMSUN

The 45th General Administrative Board (GIK), organized by Genç MUSIAD with the wide participation of its branches across Turkey; It was held between 14-16 January, hosted by the Samsun branch. Nearly 300 people from 45 branches participated in the organization, which stood out as the first general administrative board after the pandemic.

The program, which started with the arrival of Young MUSIAD Chairman Furkan Akbal and his delegation on January 14, continued with Samsun provincial protocol visits. Samsun Governor Assoc. Dr. Visiting Zülkif Dağlı, the delegation conveyed the work of Genç MUSIAD. Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir was informed about the projects signed by Genç MUSIAD in Samsun and throughout Turkey. The gala dinner of the 45th General Administrative Board (GİK) meeting was held in Ömer Halisdemir Congress and Multi-Purpose Hall with great participation. The presentation reflecting the work of the Young MUSIAD Samsun Branch was followed by the opening speech of the Young MUSIAD Samsun Branch President Ahmet Korkmaz. Underlining that they work in unity as a team in every work they do, Korkmaz said; Young stated that MUSIAD Samsun members have made great contributions to Samsun's economy and will continue to do so in the future.

After the greeting speech of MUSIAD Samsun Branch President Hasan Tahsin Şengül, underlining that the most important natural resource of our country is the youth, Young MUSIAD President Furkan Akbal gave the following message: “We will support the national technology move led by our state. We will follow these innovations together and take important responsibilities. In line with the 2022 targets of Young MUSIAD, we will focus on digital competence, awareness, production, personal and corporate development, and raising young people who are committed to their values, and we will undertake pioneering works.” Akbal mentioned that there are concerns about a 'brain drain' in Turkey lately; “Countries should protect their own values. As Young MUSIAD, we will work to create value-added working environments for talented young people.” Samsun Ondokuz Mayıs University Rector Prof. Dr. Yavuz Unal; While talking about the importance of youth who are aware of their values ​​and the role of Genç MUSIAD at this point; Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir underlined that MUSIAD has played a very important role in the Turkish economy since its establishment and that they will support the projects of young business people in Samsun until the end.

Presidents, Organization, Sector Boards, Export Promotion and Universities Commission Meetings were held at TÜYAP Congress Center on January 15th. AK Party Deputy Chairman and Samsun Deputy Çiğdem Karaaslan visited the program participants and the mini fair area established in the entrance area. Expressing that especially young business people have a great importance in the development of Turkey, Karaaslan conveyed his gratitude and appreciation for the organization of the program in Samsun to President Furkan Akbal and the participants.

The most successful first 3 branches; Adana, Sakarya and Konya

After the meetings, Dr. A training program on "Family and Company Tips for Young Masters" was held with the participation of Şaban Kızıldağ. Then, Young MUSIAD 2021 Branch Performance Evaluation results were announced. According to the evaluations, throughout Turkey in 2021; Adana branch was chosen as the first most successful branch, Sakarya branch was the second and Konya branch was the third. At the end of the program, the branch presidents who ranked high were presented with plaques of appreciation by Young MUSIAD President Furkan Akbal. The 45th General Administrative Board program ended with a Samsun city tour on January 16.
