Turkey did not remain silent about the flood disaster and loss of life in the Petropolis region of Brazil. With the cooperation of AFAD and MUSIAD Brazil, the aid sent to the region is delivered to those in need.

Flood disaster in Petrolis city of Rio de Janeiro state of Brazil affected life negatively. Turkey, which did not remain silent about the disaster in which many people lost their lives, extended a helping hand to those in need through its diplomatic missions in the region.

AFAD aid, which was prepared with the contribution of MUSIAD Brazil under the coordination of the Turkish Embassy in Brazil and the Consulate General in Sao Paulo, was sent to the region to be delivered to those in need.

On the other hand, Turkey's Sao Paulo Consul General Gürsel Evren, Sao Pulo State Social Affairs Secretary Celia Parnes and MUSIAD Brazil President Umut Eker traveled to the region and met with the victims.

Turkey's attempts to heal the wounds in the region continue.
