WORKSHOP ON THE NATIONAL PRODUCTION MOVEMENT WITH AHI CULTURE WAS HELD BY MUSIAD

Ahi Culture and National Production Movement Workshop was hosted by MUSIAD with the participation of MUSIAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı, İstanbul National Education Manager Levent Yazıcı, Education Support Platform İstanbul Branch President Seçkin Turan. Making evaluations in the program, President Asmalı drew attention to the importance of Ahi culture and shared the works of MUSIAD in this area.

Ahi Culture and National Production Movement Workshop was hosted by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD). In the event, which was held with the participation of MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı, Istanbul National Education Director Levent Yazıcı, Education Support Platform Istanbul Branch President Seçkin Turan, evaluations on the reflections of Ahi culture in the business world were discussed. Speaking at the program, President Asmalı, referring to the protocol signed between the Istanbul Directorate of National Education, Education Support Platform and MUSIAD, said, "We want to contribute to the growth of our youth with a national understanding within the ahi-order culture, and to support the training of young professionals with professional morality sought by the business world."

Stating that the culture of Ahi-Order establishes an important mechanism of reconciliation between both tradesmen, tradesmen and citizens, President Asmalı said, "The institution of Ahi-order is one that covers all the horizontal and vertical segments of the business world, and deals with personal, institutional, social and universal gains and losses on the same axis. It builds an ecosystem,” he said.

In his speech, President Asmalı stated that they, as MUSIAD, attach importance to the cooperation protocol signed with the Istanbul Directorate of National Education and the Education Support Platform, and said, "We want to contribute to the growth of our youth with a national understanding within the culture of ahi-order and to support the training of professional moral young people sought by the business world."

President Asmalı continued his words as follows:

"As a result of the changes made in vocational education, regulations have been signed in favor of employers and employees. With the changes made, the state has taken the burden of the employer. Thus, our state has taken a burden of 1-2 billion TL from the employer. There are 256 OIZs in Turkey. Vocational training centers were established in all OIZs at the end of 2021. If an enterprise has master trainers, that enterprise can employ 40 apprentices. In the coming years, a much greater added value will be built in the Turkish economy with investments that strengthen the master-apprentice relationship. The number of students studying in vocational education centers is expected to reach 500 thousand in May 2022. We will see that the number of apprentices employed in different sectors will increase rapidly after these regulations. The fact that it has signed a Cooperation Protocol is also a different view of this point of view. r reflection. Prepared considering the needs of the labor market, the protocol includes technology, equipment, human resources, R&D, production etc. It will enable the evaluation of the studies on focused issues and the culture of the Akhism by taking it to the multidimensional agenda. The scope of the protocol is the renewal of the education programs given in schools to include the culture of the ahi-order, the preparation of the curriculum for the presentation of the culture of the ahi-order as the course content, and the preparation of the curriculum for this education.
It was determined that the necessary materials were prepared and presented to the ministry. Within the scope of the signed protocol, trainings will be organized to introduce the culture of Akhism to teachers and students at schools. Speaking at the program, Istanbul National Education Director Levent Yazıcı pointed out that the education processes equipped with Ahi-Order culture would be a great gain in itself, and said, "In line with the objectives of our Ministry, with a new perspective that we will integrate with the sector, an integrated structure that puts forward a new vision in vocational education, we are working with. We aim for a total change with our schools. We have assumed that we can contribute to a new model with multifaceted work ethic and family life by adopting the values ​​in the ahi-order culture of our youth. The outputs of the process of updating the framework curricula that include the culture and preparing the educational materials will really be a great gain in itself," he said.

Drawing attention to the importance of inter-institutional studies within the scope of the event, Seçkin Turan, Head of Education Support Platform Istanbul Branch, said, "It is important to prepare the curriculum, which has been shaped by the Ahi-Order culture, to prepare the training contents and to create internship opportunities. His contribution to the professional activities and projects to be carried out will be great."
