Explaining that they organize many activities as a ministry within the scope of the Disability Week, Minister Yanık continued his words as follows:
"I am also happy that MUSIAD has played a pioneering role here, as it has in many social responsibility projects since its establishment. Being a cohesive society has some sine qua non for becoming a strong nation. Social responsibility is one of the sine qua non. We are part of our culture. and with the inspiration we get from our faith, we meet our needs by supporting each other without discrimination of disabled, non-disabled, old, young, female or male, and we symbolize this with the phrase we are a big family. "We both listen to the experiences of our disabled citizens and support academic activities. Our aim is for all our citizens to lead a happier, more peaceful and secure life."
"The founders of disabled and elderly care centers, which are members of MUSIAD, play a leading role in the social field"
Sharing his thoughts on the program, President of MUSIAD Mahmut Asmalı emphasized that there are no obstacles to sharing life. Stating that they are honored to host such an event as the representatives of a culture that values labor, President Asmalı said that MUSIAD members and founders of disabled and elderly care centers all over Turkey play a leading role in the social field:
"We all saw that today's 'Discern Without Barriers, Discover Without Barriers' organization has an important mission. The disabled care centers, which our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan directed the activity process in 2006, have become a home for many of our citizens in need of care today. These centers are 7 /24 has gained a structure that provides psycho-social support services, providing health follow-ups as well as personal needs of the patient. Thus, our disabled citizens continue their lives in professional institutions where home and hospital services are provided together, without breaking away from social activities and life. I would like to underline with pride and gratitude that in our nursing homes in Turkey, our elderly and disabled people are carefully cared for. Shift systems were created during the 15-day quarantine processes. The staff protected our disabled and elderly people from the devastating effect of the epidemic before they even went to their homes. Our times set an example for different organizations in this sense. The founders of disabled and elderly care centers, who are members of MUSIAD, protect their trusts with this awareness and play a leading role in the sector. Our MUSIAD member care centers not only take care of our disabled and elderly people, but also highlight their talents with artistic workshops."
Houses of love become hope for tomorrow
Stating that such events, which are of great significance for disabled and elderly individuals, will turn into a much more meaningful picture with the institutional support of MUSIAD, and that the disabled and elderly will both feel more valuable and increase their motivation, Mayor Asmalı said, "Discovering the talents of the special guests staying in the care centers and ensuring their motivation." He wished that this organization, organized for the purpose of this, would become a tradition in the coming years. Noting that they attach great importance to the participation of every MUSIAD member business person in such social aid activities, President Asmalı said, "Our Akyuva Foundation, which we established in 2015, we take care of 4 love houses and 25 disadvantaged families. Actually, we do not look after them. They look after us. Their prayers look after us. "With their blessings, our work and work become much more successful. In this sense, our MUSIAD has a great sensitivity." he used it.
"The biggest obstacle is not noticing, not discovering"
Emphasizing that they want to raise awareness with the Distinguish Without Barriers and Discover Without Barriers program, MUSIAD Women's President Meryem İlbahar reminded the world-renowned names, "The biggest obstacle is not noticing, not discovering" and said:
"The biggest obstacle is not being able to notice or discover. These success stories, which emerged as a result of various struggles, have always inspired us and will continue to be. Louis Braille, who lost his sight at the age of 3, became a light for our special individuals with the alphabet he gave his name. one of the success stories arising from the difficulties belongs to a guest who was born with cerebral palsy, whose struggle I witnessed very closely, and who is with us today. These success stories are not always far away but sometimes very close to us. With their positive energies, their constant struggles, their outlook on life and their success, they will be a source of inspiration for you and increase your awareness. it is to keep special individuals alive in a long way. By taking our place in this struggle, we are ready to do our part in the action plans developed so that private individuals can take an active role in life. In this sense, we are aware of our responsibilities as MUSIAD Women."
"We aim to contribute to the employment of our private individuals"
Hüseyin Sarpkaya, Chairman of MUSIAD Health Sector Board, said that they aim to contribute to the employment of private individuals with the event. Sarpkaya, who also drew attention to the micro-production studies in private nursing homes, continued as follows:
"As commanded in the hadith (those believers) who abide by their trusts and covenants, I would like to express that the founders of MUSIAD member Disabled and Elderly Care Centers protect their trusts with this awareness, and also assume an active and leading role in the sector. We believe that the trust is sacred. As MUSIAD Health Sector Board, we have the desire to work on the contribution of our members to private employment and the participation of private individuals in social life with micro-production studies, in the continuation of our projects. We would like to sign joint projects with MUSIAD, the founder and staff of the Disabled Care Center, who contributed to this organization, and our program partner MUSIAD Women's Board for this voluntary work and sacrifice. It is too important to remember their troubles and troubles and to be aware of their successes that they cannot fit into just one program. However, we believe that the entire society should act with a spirit of mobilization for the solution of this issue, and as Turkey's most important and active businessmen's association, we once again say Notice Without Barriers, Explore Without Barriers."
