THE FUTURE OF THE PRINTING, PUBLISHING AND MEDIA INDUSTRY CONSULTED IN KONYA
MUSIAD 106th General Administrative Board was held in Konya between 17-19 June. Within the scope of the program organized with the theme of Green Transformation Economy, internal consultation meetings of the organization and sector boards were also held. One of the first sector boards of MUSIAD and acting as the spokesperson of the sector with its dynamic structure, the Printing, Broadcasting and Media Sector Board came together at the Selçuklu Congress Center with the participation of MUSIAD Vice President Mehmet Develioğlu.
Ömer Karatemiz, Chairman of the Press, Broadcasting and Media Sector Board, made the opening speech of the meeting and informed the participants about the work done. Emphasizing that the door of the Headquarters is open to everyone, Karatemiz stated that those who have criticism, suggestions and projects can always reach them. Pointing out that they want to cooperate with the branches, Karatemiz added that they have started working for the summit program during the year in which solutions to sectoral problems will be presented. Taking the floor after Ömer Karatemiz, MUSIAD Konya Branch Board Member Ulvi Yıldırım said that they were happy to host an important organization. Thanking the participants, Yıldırım said that the outputs to be obtained from the consultation meetings are important in terms of the solution of sectoral problems and the value they will add to the future vision.
Vice President Mehmet Develioğlu thanked everyone who contributed to the event in the person of Ömer Karatemiz and Ulvi Yıldırım, and made evaluations about MUSIAD values and general activities.
The program continued with other participants introducing themselves and speeches on sectoral expectations. Issues such as the shortage of raw materials in the sector, export opportunities, e-export, and the development of trade between members were the prominent topics.
