A Business Development Meeting was held at MUSIAD Headquarters between the Machinery Sector Board and the Construction and Building Materials Sector Board.
The meeting started with İsmail Somalı, the Chairman of the Machinery Sector Board, and Cemil Yüksekdağ, the Chairman of the Construction and Building Materials Sector Board, introducing themselves. In the meeting, which continued with the introduction of the members of the Sector Boards, the members gave information about their fields of activity. The meeting, in which intense participation was ensured, was instrumental in the emergence of new commercial relations and increased recognition between the two sector boards. After the members introduced themselves, B2B meetings were started and mutual cooperation opportunities were discussed.
Construction Sector Board Chairman Yüksekdağ gave information about the Turkey Consultation Meeting (TÜİT) program to be held in September. Referring to the problems experienced by the real estate sector, Yüksekdağ stated that the construction sector's becoming irregular structures in the future may harm family life and the concept of family. It was emphasized that this program, which will provide information on the planned planning of cities as a result of the effects of the earthquake in Izmir on people, is an important issue. An important program will be held in which urban transformation and horizontal architecture will be discussed in particular.
The industrial site, which is the main problem of the Machinery Sector, was discussed. It was mentioned that there are no factories in the industrial estates in the metropolitan areas and the high rents put a lot of pressure on the manufacturers.
