A business development and cross-meeting was held at MUSIAD Headquarters between the Furniture and Durable Goods Sector Board and the Textile, Leather and Ready-to-Wear Sector Board.
The meeting started with the opening speeches of the Textile, Leather and Ready-to-Wear Sector Board Chairman Fatih Canpolat, and the Furniture and Durable Consumer Goods Sector Chairman Halil Köklü, and the members were given the opportunity to introduce themselves. After the meeting, information about the fields of activity was given. It was agreed to increase commercial activities and cooperation, and mutual cooperation opportunities were discussed. In the meeting, which was attended by a great deal of participation, a great contribution was made to the emergence of new commercial relations between the two sector boards and to increase the recognition. The importance of mutual discounts was emphasized.
Esenler Vocational Training Center Manager Mehmet Türkoğlu also made a presentation at the meeting, and it was seen that the advantages provided by government incentives to companies contributed greatly to both sectors. It was agreed that the contributions of these incentives should be evaluated.
In the meeting, where the contribution of both sectors to human life and commercial activities was discussed, it was said that it was necessary for the sectors to be in contact with each other and to produce projects together. The meeting continued on the agendas common to both sectors. It was agreed that the meeting was very productive and that it should be repeated.
