In September 2022, the seasonal and calendar adjusted SAMEKS Composite Index increased by 3.2 points compared to the previous month and rose to 52.8.

The increase in the Service Sector SAMEKS Index by 1.6 points to 51.1 was effective in this development. The recovery observed in business volume with the strong course of input purchases came to the fore in the increase observed in the service sector.

The Industrial Sector SAMEKS Index, on the other hand, increased by 5.9 points compared to the previous month and rose to the level of 56.8 and carried its course above the reference value for the 14th consecutive month. New orders, which gained momentum in this period, caused a noticeable increase in industrial production.

The SAMEKS Composite Index, which had an uninterrupted upward trend in the January-July period of 2022, was below 50 points in August, pointing out that economic activity lost drinking during this period. Thus, the index value for September, which rose by 3.2 points to 52.8, pointed out that economic activity has regained momentum.
