MUSIAD ADDRESSED FOOD SAFETY AT THE IBF SUMMIT

Organized as part of MUSIAD EXPO, the IBF Food Safety and Generation Conservation program addressed food safety and threats to future generations with panel programs. Speaking at the event, IBF President Erol Yarar stated that food safety should not only be evaluated as an economic concept, but should be evaluated comprehensively with the risks it poses.

Organized by the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD), MUSIAD EXPO opened its doors at TÜYAP Istanbul Fair and Congress Center. On the second day of the fair, which was held for the 19th time this year, the 26th International Business Forum (IBF) was held with the theme of Food Safety and Generation Conservation.

IBF Chairman Erol Yarar: The dangers of genetically modified foods to the human generation should be well analyzed

Speaking at the program, IBF Chairman Erol Yarar pointed out that the world was going through a big change especially after the epidemic, and said that food safety created a serious discussion environment. Stating that the use of clean and halal food should be expanded for healthy generations, Chairman Yarar stated that they aim to raise awareness in the Food Safety and Generation Conservation program:

"The global crisis caused by pandemics and conflicts has endangered food security. Again, the deterioration of the supply and logistics chain in these periods brought along bigger problems. However, this is not the only problem. Changes in the food field cause hormonal disorders and trigger various health problems. This situation also affects our generations. Therefore, for the first time, we bring together the issues of food safety and the protection of generations, bringing our wish to secure the lives of our tomorrows on the agenda. Because changes in food safety directly affect human health and genetics. Humanity is not only trying to survive, but to be healthy. should try."

Stating that it is unacceptable for the fear of hunger emerging around the world to change dimensions with genetically modified foods, IBF President Erol Yarar said, "We should analyze not only an economic concept such as food safety and natural events, but also the risks that this situation will cause and the dangers that genetically modified foods will bring to the human generation. " said.

Chairman Yarar said that the Food Security and Generation Conservation program was evaluated with the panel programs "Threats to Food Safety", "The Importance of Halal and Clean Food in Nutrition and Generation Conservation" and "Generation Conservation in Treatment and Nutrition".
