MUSIAD Textile Summit was hosted by MUSIAD Batman branch. Speaking at the summit, Mahmut Asmalı President of MUSIAD, drew attention to the international competitiveness of Turkey's quality production in the textile sector and said, "Our goal is to make Türkiye one of the top three countries in the textile sector."
The Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Textile Summit was held in cooperation with Batman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TEKSİAD, hosted by MUSIAD Batman Branch under the coordination of MUSIAD Textile, Leather and Ready-to-Wear Sector Board.
Batman Governor Ekrem Canalp, MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı, Batman Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Abdulkadir Demir, MUSIAD Textile, Leather and Ready-to-Wear Sector Board Chairman Fatih Canpolat, MUSIAD Batman Branch President Aladdin İraz, Members of the Board of Directors, executives of public institutions, representatives of the leading textile companies of our country, members of MUSIAD and business people in the region attended.
Speaking at the opening program, MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı stated that Turkey has become the 5th largest textile producer and exporter in the world and said, "Our biggest goal is to leave our competitors behind and become one of the top 3 textile exporting and producing countries in the world. 2 Million Despite the pandemic, the textile and ready-to-wear sectors, which provide job opportunities for people, achieved an export of over 30 billion dollars in 2021. Exports of the textile and raw materials sector amounted to 16.2 billion dollars.Turkey has repeatedly proven to the whole world that it is a reliable and sought-after supplier in its sector. "We must continue to focus on the branding of production and exports with high unit prices. In order to increase our competitiveness, we must invest in R&D and focus on digital resources in all industries."
After the opening program, a presentation was made on the socioeconomic status, industry and tourism potential of Batman and the general situation of the new OIZ's planned to be established in our province.

4 factories opened in Batman as part of the Anatolian Production and Investment Movement
President of MUSIAD Mahmut Asmalı, attended a series of opening ceremonies in Batman, where he was for the MUSIAD Textile Summit.
President Asmalı, who attended the opening ceremonies with Batman Governor Ekrem Canalp, opened 4 factories that were brought to life as part of the investments made within the scope of the Anatolian Production and Investment Movement.
Making evaluations on the subject, President Asmalı said, "As MUSIAD, we contribute to regional employment and development all over our country with the Anatolian Production and Investment Movement. Today, we held the opening ceremony of 4 factories in Batman with the participation of our Honorable Governor Ekrem Canalp and our Board Members. Our members, I hope that Mahmut Ekinci's Ekinci Tekstil, Mehmet Kılıç's Ravidex Tekstil Medikal, Abdulhalim Sünger's Sünger Grup Tekstil and Mehmet Ceylan's Ceylan Tekstil production facilities will be beneficial for our country's trade, and I wish you fruitful earnings."
