MUSIAD Cologne and MUSIAD United Kingdom General Assembly was held with the participation of MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı. As a result of the General Assemblies, Yunus Arslan was elected as the Head of MUSIAD Cologne Branch, and Murat Bingöl was elected as the Head of the UK Branch of MUSIAD.
Job changes were made in MUSIAD Cologne and MUSIAD UK branches. As a result of the General Assemblies held with the participation of MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı and MUSIAD Board Members, Yunus Arslan was elected as MUSIAD Cologne Branch President and Murat Bingöl was elected as MUSIAD UK Branch President.
In the first part of MUSIAD's Germany and England program, MUSIAD Cologne General Assembly, President Mahmut Asmalı, Cologne Consul General Turhan Kaya, Düsseldorf Consul General Ayşegül Gökçen Karaarslan, Münster Consul General Ahmet Faik Davaz, Essen Consul General Sezai Tolga Şimşir, İstanbul Deputy Zafer Sırakaya, business world in the region representatives and business people who are members of MUSIAD.
Within the framework of the program, President Asmalı also visited the Consulate General of Cologne and the Islamic Community Milli Gorus Headquarters, and consulted with Consul General Turhan Kaya and Islamic Society Milli Gorus Headquarters Kemal Ergün on MUSIAD's work and commercial life in the region.
President Asmalı, who also met with member business people hosted by MUSIAD Cologne branch, later visited MUSIAD member Hatex Group and received information about their work from Hatex Manager Burhan Asan.
"Türkiye plays an important role in trade with Germany and the European region"
Making evaluations about his contacts with Germany before his trip to England, President Mahmut Asmalı emphasized the importance of the work of Turkish business people and said, "Türkiye plays an important role in trade with both Germany and the European region. As MUSIAD, we increase the number of our business people in the EU, both regionally and locally. We want to contribute more to the trade relations between the countries," he said.
President Asmalı wished success to Yunus Arslan, who was elected as the Head of the MUSIAD Cologne Branch as a result of the MUSIAD Cologne General Assembly, and thanked Bahattin Yılmaz, who transferred the task, for his contributions.
After their contacts in Germany, the MUSIAD delegation went to London for the MUSIAD UK General Assembly, visited MUSIAD members Vehbi Keleş at the Gima Group factory and Mehmet Demir at the Modern Paper facilities and received information about their work.
President Mahmut Asmalı, who met with MUSIAD UK members hosted by London Yunus Emre Institute, consulted on the commercial life in the region.

"Türkiye acts with the understanding of 'people first'"
Mentioning the trade relations between Turkey and England in his assessment at the MUSIAD UK General Assembly, President Asmalı underlined that Türkiye is in a key position in the energy crisis that has affected Europe.
President Asmalı emphasized that regional conflicts and global crises have increased the importance of cooperation between countries in the new period, and said that MUSIAD will do its part to further strengthen the commercial relations between Türkiye and England.
Mentioning Türkiye's role in the grain crisis in his statement, the President of MUSIAD said, "Türkiye, with its role as a mediator and peace-building in the regional and global arena, is achieving diplomatic victories one after another under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. At the point reached today, it is solution-oriented, constructive and 'people first'. "As MUSIAD, we continue humanitarian diplomacy by contributing to our country's work in the humanitarian field as well as commercial diplomacy," he said.
President Asmalı also wished success to Murat Bingöl, who was elected as the Head of the UK Branch of MUSIAD as a result of the MUSIAD UK General Assembly, and thanked the Branch President, Mustafa Demir, for his work.
After the MUSIAD British General Assembly, the MUSIAD delegation met with Turkey's Ambassador to London, Ümit Yalçın, and exchanged ideas on MUSIAD projects and the commercial life in the region.
The delegation, which also visited MUSIAD UK office within the framework of the UK program, listened to the presentation on regional trade opportunities and evaluated the steps that can be taken to strengthen the commercial relations between the two countries.
