A business trip to Morocco was organized by the MUSIAD Digital Transformation Sector Board, which consists of representatives of companies operating in the field of information technologies, to attend GITEX Africa and to organize various business development meetings.

The Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD), which has a structure at 165 points in total, 81 in Turkey and 84 abroad, continues its efforts so that the Turkish business world can get a larger share from the foreign market. MUSIAD Digital Transformation Sector Board, consisting of members operating in the field of informatics, organized a business trip to Morocco to attend the event of GITEX, which is considered one of the largest technology fairs in the world, which was held in Africa for the first time this year. The delegation, which first made contacts in Casablanca, then moved on to Marekesh.

The members of the Sector Board, who visited the stands of approximately 500 startups and technology companies from almost every region of the world, one by one, gave information about the economic developments and sectoral opportunities in our country as well as introducing their own companies. The delegation met with Mali Bomako Ambassador Efe Ceylan and Rabat Embassy Casablanca Commercial Counselor Burcu Özergül Çolak at the event venue and consulted on investment and partnership opportunities in Africa.

Marekesh Chamber of Industry and Commerce Visited

After the fair interactions, the next stop of the delegation, which came together with the executives of Imperium Holding, which includes the biggest companies of Morocco, was the Marekesh Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Inviting Moroccan business people to Turkey, Chairman of the Sector Board Taha Çiftci gave information about the investment and partnership opportunities in our country. Voicing his satisfaction with the visit, Abdelmoula Ballouty, Deputy Chairman of the Marrakech Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that they can interact and provide commercial guidance for Turkish businessmen to invest in Morocco.
