Turkish and Indian investors discussed new cooperation opportunities at the Anatolian Economic Diplomacy meeting held in Denizli by MUSIAD.
Anatolian Economic Diplomacy Program, hosted by MUSIAD Denizli under the coordination of the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) Diplomatic Relations Commission, brought Turkish and Indian investors together.
India's Ambassador to Ankara Virander Paul, who participated in the organization held in a conference hall in Pamukkale district, stated that he came to Denizli for the first time and that he was informed about the economic size of the city during his visit to Metropolitan Mayor Osman Zolan.
Pointing to the importance of the meeting held in order to improve the relations of Denizli companies with India, Paul stated that the two countries supported each other in difficult times.
Expressing that he believes that these meetings, organized within the scope of the goal of attracting foreign investors to Turkey, will yield results, Paul said, "I would like to assure you that your efforts will not go in vain. The relations between India and Turkey date back to centuries ago. We already experience the feeling of civilization, development and friendship between these two countries. "At the moment, we are focusing on the economic cooperation between the two countries. Such studies will carry the trade volume much higher," he said.
MUSIAD Diplomatic Relations Commission President Osman Nuri Önügören also explained that they hosted ambassadors from all over the country in cities in the last 2 years and evaluated trade opportunities.
Noting that they are also focusing on strengthening commercial ties with India, Önügören said, "Today we are implementing our first program. Turkey and India make a significant contribution to regional and global trade as two friendly countries with both their effective commercial potential on the Silk Road route and their historical and cultural ties. We will reshape the future," he said.
MUSIAD Denizli Branch Head Engin Boyacı expressed his satisfaction for the visit of the Indian Ambassador Paul to Denizli and emphasized that the Denizli business world is ready for any kind of cooperation in order to develop the trade between the two countries.

Denizli Exporters Union President Hüseyin Memişoğlu, Denizli Chamber of Commerce President Uğur Erdoğan, Denizli Chamber of Industry President Selim Kasapoğlu, South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA) Secretary General Özgür Akdoğan and business people attended the meeting, followed by Ambassador Virander Paul and Indian Consul General Sudhi Choudhary, who was with him in India. business delegation visited marble and textile companies.
The delegation, which made sectoral examinations at Akgün Elektrik Mühendislik, Sirmersan Marble and Altınbaşak Tekstil companies, received information about the Denizli Organized Industrial Zone.
