MUSIAD MALAYSIA BRANCH WILL BE A TRADE BASE WITH REGIONAL COUNTRIES

MUSIAD Malaysia Branch was opened with the participation of Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim, Turkish Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Emir Salim Yüksel, MUSIAD delegation headed by MUSIAD Vice President Davut Altunbaş and Turkish-Malaysian business people. Sending a video message to the program participants, MUSIAD President Mahmut Asmalı stated that MUSIAD Malaysia Branch will be a base in trade with the countries of the region.

Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD) continues to strengthen its overseas organization. Continuing its activities at 165 points in Turkey and abroad, MUSIAD opened a branch in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia.

MUSIAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, attended by Emir Salim Yüksel, Ambassador of Turkey to Kuala Lumpur, also brought together Turkish and Malaysian business people.

In the Gala Dinner Program organized within the scope of MUSIAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim made evaluations on Turkish and Malaysian commercial relations and cultural ties.

Mahmut Asmalı, President of MUSIAD, also sent a video message to the Gala Programme. In his assessment that he drew attention to the ties of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries, President Asmalı said that MUSIAD Malaysia Branch will be a base in trade with the countries of the region.

Malaysian Prime Minister Enver İbrahim, who spoke at the program, drew attention to the strong ties between Turkey and Malaysia and emphasized the importance of joint work between the business people of the two countries.

In his statement, Prime Minister İbrahim stated that Turkey and Malaysia are two important partners in regional trade, and that the Malaysian government will continue to strengthen the business-to-business network between Malaysia and Turkey and will continue to host companies in the country to explore various trade opportunities in Malaysia.

Ambassador Emir Salim Yüksel, who guided the MUSIAD delegation within the framework of the MUSIAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, also stated that MUSIAD Malaysia Branch will play an important role in the development of commercial relations and new areas of cooperation between the two countries.

Heading the MUSIAD delegation in Malaysia, MUSIAD Deputy Chairman Davut Altunbaş drew attention to the importance of international cooperation in regional trade and invited Malaysian investors to Turkey.
MUSIAD Malaysia Branch President Sabri Yardimci emphasized that MUSIAD Malaysia Branch will be a bridge between the business people of the two countries.

Within the scope of the program, Tengku Zafrul, Malaysian Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, met with the MUSIAD delegation and consulted on regional business and investment opportunities.

MUSIAD will expand the cooperation of MATRADE, MIDA and FMM

As part of the MUSIAD Malaysia Branch Opening Program, the MUSIAD delegation in Kuala Lumpur also met with Malaysian business representatives and held consultations to strengthen regional and international cooperation.

In this context, the delegation headed by MUSIAD Deputy Chairman Davut Altunbaş met with Malaysian Trade Promotion Organization (MATRADE) President Reezal Merican and Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) President Sulaiman Mahbob.

During the meetings held, ideas were exchanged on areas of cooperation that could be established for the strengthening of commercial relations between the two countries and the close work of Turkish and Malaysian business people.

At the same time, business and investment opportunities in Turkey and Malaysia were discussed within the scope of the program, and a cooperation protocol was signed between MUSIAD and the Malaysian Manufacturers' Federation (FMM).

Within the framework of the program, a B2B Business Development Meeting was also held, and business people in the region showed great interest in the event.

Evaluating the contacts made within the scope of the Malaysia program, MUSIAD Deputy Chairman Davut Altunbaş stated that MUSIAD will expand its cooperation with MATRADE, MIDA and FMM in the coming period.
