MÜSİAD 107TH GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD WAS HELD IN KARAMAN

Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) held its 107th General Administrative Board program in Karaman. In the program organized with the participation of many domestic and international members; Important projects and visionary projects were put forward for the future.

MÜSİAD's 107th General Administrative Board Program was held in Karaman with a great participation of more than 500 MÜSİAD members from approximately 75 provinces of Türkiye. The General Administrative Board, organized to contribute to the development of the business world and economy, started with the visit of MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı and Board Members to Karaman Governor Engin Sarıibrahim in his office. Afterwards, the delegation met with Karaman Mayor Savaş Kalaycı and Karaman Chamber of Commerce President Mustafa Gökhan Alkan and exchanged ideas about Karaman's economic and commercial activities in the region.

It started with the 107th General Administrative Board Presidents Meeting, which lasted 3 days, with MÜSİAD members coming to Karaman from all over Türkiye. At the same time, he met with the Domestic Organization Commission, Foreign Organization Commission, Business and Trade Development Commission, Sector Boards Commission, Corporate Relations and Communication Commission, Young MÜSİAD and MÜSİAD Women's Commission Presidents, and branch Commission Presidents in simultaneous meetings. In the meetings, visionary ideas and cooperation opportunities that would contribute to Türkiye's economic growth were discussed.

After a busy and productive first day, Karaman Governor H. Engin Sarıibrahim; He attended the dinner program with high participation of MÜSİAD members. In his speech, Governor Sarıibrahim expressed his gratitude to the Board of Directors and Karaman Branch President Musa Akgül for the contribution of MÜSİAD General Administrative Board to Karaman.

Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund comes into play

On the second day of the General Administrative Board, MÜSİAD Headquarters and successful branch projects were shared with the members. After the branch presentations, Hedef Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. General Manager Ercan Güner gave information to the members about the Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund.

He stated that while the fund aims to become an important tool to strengthen Türkiye's entrepreneurship ecosystem and contribute to the growth of the business world, it will be a reliable platform for entrepreneurs to implement their innovative business ideas and contribute to the growth of the business world. Independent Private Venture Capital Investment Fund aims to be a part of a vision for the future of Türkiye by supporting many important projects in the business world and entrepreneurship.

In the afternoon presentations of the second day, Prof. Dr. In Nurullah Gür's presentation "Medium Term Program (MTP) and Global Economy", he shared the details of the program, which is a guide that will increase predictability for the public sector and the real sector, with MÜSİAD members for a better understanding. Afterwards, Board Member Ünsal Sözbir stated that the 2023-2025 MÜSİAD Strategy Plan will focus on Türkiye's future goals, while also fulfilling its responsibilities towards social development. Within the scope of social responsibility, the guests who came to Karaman in the evening of the same day, visited the city, listened to the problems of the tradesmen and did shopping. In addition, MÜSİAD continued the ancient Ottoman tradition of Zimem Ledger practice, in other words, by purchasing the credit book from the tradesmen, it paid the debts of those in need.

On the last day of the General Administrative Board, MÜSİAD Vice Presidents made detailed presentations to the members about the 2-year future period activities they prepared in line with the 2023-2025 MÜSİAD Strategic Plan. In his closing speech, MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı said; “With our Board of Directors, High Advisory Board, Young MÜSİAD; With our MÜSİAD Women's Presidency, sector boards and commissions; With our branches, staff, domestic and international organizations; In short, together with all our members, we are working hard for our nation and our country in order to realize the great and powerful "Türkiye Century" ideal.

In the centenary of our Republic, the economy of a country growing with local and national technologies will literally rise with the power and support of Anatolian wisdom. We will continue to work with great responsibility and sensitivity, with enthusiasm and determination, to realize our ideal of a strong Türkiye.
