Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) announced MÜSİAD's Industry and Technology Manifesto at the MÜSİAD Industry and Technology Summit. The manifesto, announced to the public by MÜSİAD Chairman Mahmut Asmalı, reveals a new vision for the future.

In addition to the important events and speakers it hosted, the Industry and Technology Summit (MUST'23) organized by Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MÜSİAD) also published an important output manifesto. The manifesto announced by MÜSİAD President Mahmut Asmalı during his opening speech reveals what MÜSİAD will do and support in the field of industry and technology in the future. While explaining the manifesto, Asmalı emphasized the urge to act together and work collectively and mentioned that everyone should take responsibility. In his speech, Asmalı said, "At MUST, we will especially discuss the developments in industry and technology, the points of contact of these sectors with each other, and new trends with new opportunities. In addition, in this part of my speech, I will discuss the vision document "MÜSİAD Industry and Technology", which expresses MÜSİAD's views, thoughts and goals. We accept it as our responsibility to develop cooperation between different branches of science and sectors in order to prevent risks arising from climate change and compensate for their damages.

We resolutely follow the energy policies and resource development activities defined under 11 headings in MÜSİAD Energy Strategy for the development of the country.

We consider it our priority to increase Research and Development (R&D) activities to improve production technologies that will increase efficiency.

We attach vital importance to doubling the resources allocated by the private sector to R&D in critical sectors and digital transformation that will ensure the transition to the concept of "Industry Producing Industry".

We consider it a necessity to develop the capacities of our companies in order to reduce foreign dependency in sectors that provide raw materials and other production inputs.

We attach importance to the realization of the 2023 Industry and Technology Strategy, which was prepared and implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.

We attach importance to expanding our areas of cooperation with our government institutions and professional organizations in the creation of support programs and national and international legislative regulations required at all stages of investments.

We support professional qualification initiatives to develop the employability qualities brought by the new age rising on innovation, digital transformation and smart objects.

To benefit more effectively from the developmental power of science in redefined production and investment processes; We are aware that it is possible through effective collaborations with universities, and we are striving to realize this.

We attach importance to our companies' easier access to international financing and efforts in this direction.

We propose to develop our efforts to bring investors together with industrialists and to transfer the capital and technical knowledge that our industrialists need as a national program.

We attach great importance to integrated logistics networks for the development of the industry.

Development of public - private, entrepreneur - investor business networks and collaborations; We see the simplification of tax, incentive and wage policies as an inevitable necessity.

We believe that the contribution of qualified immigrants will improve the economy in terms of quality and quantity, and we follow the development of new policies to manage migration for employment purposes as a hot agenda.

We continue to see the export mission and developing social export awareness among our priorities.

We consider it a goal to be in the top 20 in the doing business index published by the World Bank.

We stand by and support all initiatives to improve our domestic and national production capacity in the priority development areas and strategic priority sectors included in the 12th Development Plan.
