At the meeting held with the Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) Chemical and Metal Mining Sector Board and Deputy Minister of Commerce Mahmut Gürcan, important issues leading in the sector were discussed and cooperation opportunities were evaluated.

At the meeting, Mahmut Gürcan emphasized the strategic importance of the Ministry of Commerce, sharing that it is responsible for issues such as domestic trade and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Chambers of Industry. In addition, by sharing information about the work carried out to support Turkey's exports, MÜSİAD Chemistry, Metal and Mining Sector Board Management also expressed its views on current developments, needs and expectations in the sector.

A mutual exchange of ideas took place on issues such as trade policies, the situation in the sector, supporting exports and improving the investment environment. The meeting provided an important platform to strengthen communication between the sector and the government and support the sustainable growth of the sector.
