INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION AGREEMENTS SIGNED WITH 20 NEW ORGANIZATIONS FROM 4 CONTINENTS AT MUSIAD EXPO 2020

International Collaboration Agreements (MoU) were signed with 20 new organizations from 4 continents at the MUSIAD EXPO Trade Fair which the Independent Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) organizes once every two years.

MUSIAD, having signed a total of 193 agreements with various institutions and organizations so far, also signed International Collaboration Agreements (MoU) with 20 new organizations from 4 continents at the MUSIAD EXPO 2020 Trade Fair. Thanks to the newly signed protocols, steps will be taken toward the improvement of the export and trade between Turkey and these countries with signed agreements.

The “Goodwill Agreements/Memorandums of Understanding” which were signed at MUSIAD EXPO 2020 by the trade and economy organizations of countries on an international level of establishing relationships contribute significantly to the improvement of mutual collaboration and trade.

The partner in the country with agreement includes a significant trade committee, an investment delegation or a MoU partner organization in its attempts to increase the mutual trade potential in its list and includes them in the negotiations. And the bilateral, tripartite goodwill collaboration agreements that it actively uses act as a critical bridge in this sense.

With the MoU collaboration agreements that were made within the MUSIAD Diplomatic Relations Committee, it is aimed to determine the opposite wing organizations to create these opportunities for the target organization and its members, signing the MoU agreements with these organizations and plan the organizations to deepen the collaborations with the negotiations to be held following the developments.

With these protocols that were signed, it is planned to hold meetings separately with the MoU partners twice a year, to receive support from these organizations during the sector-based business travels to be organized by MUSIAD and also to provide support to them when their committees arrive in Turkey, for parties to help each other in the matters of the trade information that the members wish to obtain regarding the country, to physically and virtually conduct a sector-based B2B work at least once a year among the members of the organization, and to mutually notify the members about the announcements such as fairs, sectoral expeditions, special days of the countries and those that are similarly commercially important.

While a MoU agreement was made with the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture in Tanzania and Lebanon at MUSIAD EXPO 2020, an agreement was signed with the Employer’s Federation in Pakistan, and KOBİA, the KOSGEB (Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Turkey) of the country, in Azerbaijan.

Also within the scope of the fair, agreements were signed also with the Chamber of Industry and  Commerce  in Tajikistan, Guinea and Pakistan; the Chamber of Foreign Trade in Bosnia and Herzegovina; the Turkey Iran Industrialists and Businessmen Association in Iran; the Mosul Chamber of Commerce in Iraq; the Global Investors Association in Lebanon; the Libya Businessmen Council in Libya, and the Misurata Free Zone, the Santiaga Chamber of Commerce in Chile, the Afghanistan International Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan, and the Honorary Consuls Association of Turkey. In addition, Uruguay and Tunisia were also countries with which MOU agreements were made. Moreover, 4 signatures came from YOUNG MUSIAD and MoU protocols were also signed with Al Sharq Forum, Youth Impact, NYA and Great Silk Way International Youth Union at these organizations.
